Bantwal : Four and a half year old Fathimatul Tapseera who was on her way to her parental home along with her aunt, lost her life when the auto in which she was travelling was hit by a speeding goods rickshaw at Panemangalore on August 21, Wednesday.

Two others in the autorickshaw namely Shakina and Sahuda Banu were injured.

It is learnt, the girl, daughter of one Mohammad Ashraf used to stay with her aunt Sahuda Banu at Nandavara while her parents stayed at Kannur. Her aunt was taking her to her parental home when the mishap took place.

She is learnt to have died on the spot. A case has been registered in Bantwal station.
