Mangalore: DK-DC Subodh Yadav has instructed officials to distribute industrial plots to entrepreneurs only after developing the infrastructure facilities, like water, electricity and roads, to local parties in the 176 acres of land claimed for development now in Ira of Mangalore Taluk. He said this while chairing a district level single window committee meeting on Monday at his office.
About 585 acres of land was needed around Ira, but only 176 acres have been taken so far, and this land had to be basically developed before distribution among entrepreneurs as indicated by the Deputy Commissioner.
200 acres of land near Ganjimath had been developed by KIAD Board. The DC asked the officials to hand over the land once MESCOM had paid the fee for erecting therefore power transmission. He instructed concerned officials to complete their work by May end for unfinished roads, drainage in Baikampady. Officers of KIADB and other departments were present at the DCO meeting.
