Bengaluru: Lokayukta N. Santosh Hegde on Friday accused BJP spokesman Dhananjay Kumar, state minister Dr.V.S.Acharya, and economist A.G.Kodgi of visiting his house and trying to bind him in their influential net to see that the distinguished Lokayukta retiring on Aug.2 next, did not include CM B.S. Yeddyurappa in his final report as a party guilty of corruption and land grabbing deals, or other similar charges.
Justice Hegde was talking to the media. The three BJP leaders did not want to find CM Yeddyurappa in the midst of gangs of illegal( iron ore) mining and exporting persons.
The trio feel scared of the imminent fall of the BJP govt, or damage to BJP leaders, by adverse circumstances created by Lokayukta’s final report, in which he is likely to expose everything from east(Bangalore) to west(Mangalore) on illegal activities of CM conducted all these years in secret.
But, justice Hegde made it clear to the media men on Friday that he did not bother about the advice given by the 3 politicians to save CM from certain charges made in the final report, to be published soon. He had told the 3 musketeers of BJP that he knew how to go about his business, based on documentary proofs and supported by witnesses.
Dhananjay Kumar insolently, went ahead telling others that “arrangement” had been made to see that Lokayukta report made no mention of CM and mining affairs, to which Justice Hegde replied in indignation that a warning has been given to Dhananjay Kumar not to repeat his folly of influencing a Lokayukta under gloves in Delhi Karnataka Bhawan again.
CM Yeddyurappa will be compelled to pay for the wages of his misdeeds if he ever tried to threaten or influence Lokayukta when the latter was completing his final report to the state Govt. before retirement.
