Bangalore: The Lokayukta Police conducted raids and Searches all over city in 5 registrars offices, to seize over Rs 1 lakh cash and questionable documents in them.

The complaints against these offices came from people at large in KR Puram, Jayanagara, J.P. Nagar Kengeri and Devanahalli, against the corrupt methods practised there.

Officers like Shantamurthi Madhumita, Shashikala, Shankaramurthi, Prabhavathi, Guru Raghavendra, and N.A. Ramesh fell into Lokayukta nets, while the police raided their rooms, besides certain intermediaries also were Caught.

The public complaint was that during land registration and ownership procedure these officers and intermediaries (or agents) were looting people. The culprits were detained.

LA SP Shiva Shankar P.K. led the raiders team with Dy SP Girish S. and others lending a hand making a first information report the accursed persons.
