Chikkamagalur: The MLA from Chikkamagalur, C.T. Ravi is generally in news, either for not becoming a minister, or wanting to become a minister in the next expansion of cabinet, or on some controversy he rakes up.

Ravi and Pallavi both have been booked by Lokayukta police, in a first information Report(FIR) that fires a new case in the LA court.

The case is based on a complaint filed by private parties. The FIR has seven people mentioned as answerable.

A Complaint was lodged against Ravi’s wife Pallavi in the matter of a C.A. Site transferred to a Trust Against that background, Lokayukta court has ordered an enquiry and obviously, FIR precedes such legal enquiry. The first complaint against Pallavi had been made by chikkamagalur city corporator Devi Prasad. Under law, filing FIR against the person does not make him guilty, but in politics, MLAs may demand his resignation as a warning.
