Bantwal : Based on the complaint, Lokayukta sleuths conducted an inspection of documents at Panjikallu Gram panchayath office regarding major scam in Mahatma Gandhi Udyog Khatri Yojana 2010-2011.

It is learnt that, Corruption and Exploitation Forum convener Sudharshan Jain had filed a complaint with Lokayukta alleging that there was major scam in 2010-11 MGUKY in Panjikallu.

The Lokayukta officer Nasira along with the team visited Gram panchayath and collected information from panchayath officers and members.

Cyprian Miranda executive officer of Bantwal taluk panchayath, District Panchayath Engineer Girish, Jagadish, Manju Vitla, complainant Sudharshan Jain and Gram panchayath president Sanjeeva Poojary was present.
