Bantwal : A head-on collision between a lorry and a KSRTC bus has been reported from near Chandalli near Vittal on the morning of December 31, Monday. The lorry leaned towards a nearby hilly area after the collision with the bus.

Luckily no one was  hurt.  The KSRTC Rajahamsa bus was on way to Vittal from Bangalore, while the lorry was proceeding towards Charmady from Kerala. The mishap took place when the lorry took a sudden turn.
