Nelyady : The driver of a container lorry was charred to death inside his vehicle in a horrific collision between his vehicle and a private bus that resulted in both the vehicles going up in flames near Mannagundi in Nelyady on the National Highway between Mangaluru and Bengaluru late night on Wednesday.

The private bus was on way to Bengaluru while the container lorry was heading towards Mangaluru from Bengaluru when this horrific mishap took place.

Luckily the driver and passengers of the bus escaped unhurt as they immediately got down the bus. However the lorry driver could not come out of the vehicle which was in flames.

The fire tender vehicles and police rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
