London: India’s most celebrated painter, Maqbool Fida Hussain, died in London early Thursday, family sources said. He was 95.
Hussain had been suffering from age-related ailments for some months and had been in hospital. His last rites would be conducted in London and not in India, the sources said.
His sons and daughter were with him when he died.
