Mangalore : I, M.R.Vasudeva am contesting the Lok Sabha elections as the AAM AADMI Party candidate from the Dakshina Kannada constituency. Dakshina Kannada which is second only to Bengaluru as an economic center in Karnataka deserves better representation in Parliament. As far as infrastructure is concerned it has not received its fair share. The constituency’s requirements and people’s aspirations have to be projected properly in Parliament which has not been done over the years by the MPs who have represented our constituency. Clearance for projects such as Nagarjuna and Cognetrix should never have been given. The same mistake must not be repeated at Niddodi. People are vehemently against the diversion of the Nethravati and such unwanted projects are being thrust upon us.

The AAM AADMI Party was started on the plank of agitation against corruption, which has got wider support among the Aam Aadmi (common man), civil society, minorities, students, first time voters and those who don’t vote because they are disenchanted with candidates put up by existing political parties. They are all willing to support AAP.

As you are aware, we are at the last mile of the campaign and we are short of finances. The ground swell of support we are seeing can be converted to votes for us to win. However, we must have the necessary resources such as campaigning vehicles, manpower, materials and promotions to increase people’s awareness. Unlike other parties we do not and will not “buy votes” and we have to convince people to vote for me. We need at least 20 lakhs rupees to make our presences felt in around the area, we pay only minimum price for our workers our volunteers are working free, just fee ads in leading news papers and TV Radio chananels will cost us few lakhs, we need to put up tents and should have around 3-4 thousand volunteers on the election day, all this take us lot of money, Please help us to make a better India,
