The Nidumamidi Matt Seer, Veerabhadra Channamalla Swamiji watched the proceedings of rolling people of various communities including Brahmins at the Temple square on Friday when it began. There were protestors from various groups or forums or Leftist parties who also witnessed the religious ceremony, which is supposed to bring back health to those suffering from skin diseases and mental imbalance.
They disapproved of the super station connected with Kukke Temple of Made Snana and wanted a permanent ban on the so-called in human malpractice of making people roll over eaten food on used plantain leaves they shouted slogans against Made Snana in spite of the powerful support of tribles like Malekudiyas who are working in the temple as cleaners and servants of the Snake-god Vasuki who is enshrined in Kukke which is the richest temple in Karnataka and D.K, attracting huge numbers of devotees from all over Karnataka and beyond.
