Bengaluru: All-party meeting held in the leadership of CM Sidaramaiah over Mahadayi river dispute has decided to take further step after discussing with veteran lawyer F S Nariman and his team.
It is reported that CM has expressed his unhappiness over PM’s rejection for the appointment.
Later speaking to the media he said “all the possibilities have been discussed in the meeting. Many suggestions were received during the meeting. We have already held talk with Nariman. The lawyers have said that, the government has opportunity to as the clarification for the interim report or to approach the Supreme Court.”
He further said that a team will be meeting Nariman on August 16, to discuss the further move.
Opposition leader Jagadeesh Shettar, H D Kumarwamy, Union Minister D V Sadanada Gowda, in-charge Ministers of Gadag, Dharwad, Belagavi and Bagalkot and other leaders were present.
