Bangalore: Police have arrested four persons in connection with the recent murder of KAS officer Mahantesh.

According to sources, senior police officials had hired supari killers to finish off the sincere officer who had busted several irregularities in the co-operative housing scheme and had ordered an enquiry into the same.

Mahantesh was attacked by some assailants on May 15 and died in the hospital five days later. Mahantesh was the Deputy Director of Audit wing in the Co-operative Department.
