Mangalore: The Mahatma Gandhi Peace Movement organized an allocation and patriotic music competition for the school students as a part of Quit India Movement at Mahatma Gandhi Hall at Tagore Park on August 9, Tuesday.
Chief Guest DDPI Moses Jayashekar garlanded the statue of Gandhiji and said that the children from various schools will participate in the competition in order to give the hunger free country.
Foundation president A Sadanand Shetty of Sridevi Education Foundation said that this kind of programme will increase knowledge in children and disseminate among their friends and family, when the experts speak on the patriotic person.
He also said that earlier there were no people to question the politicians, but now here is supreme Lokayuta to hold of these politicians and this will give good message to the students.
P Sadananda, treasurer of the foundation welcomed the gathering and Prabhakar Shriyan, joint director proposed vote of thanks. Foundation secretary Ismail was present on the occasion.
