Belthangady : In a bid of ‘murder’ attempt was set on President of Praja Prabhutva Vedike Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi is evade at Ujire here on Friday, May 22.

It is said, while Thimarodi was in his Scorpio, Prabhu who arrived at the spot in another car asked him to get down, though Thimarodi went to meet Prabhu he is said to have driven the car with an intention to kill Thimarodi.

According to the complaint filed by Thimarodi, he was attacked by Srinath Prabhu, his classmate.

Sources said that, this is revenge for his supporters have assaulted Prabhu.

A case has been registered at Belthangady police station.
