Bangalore: An allegation that there has been a fodder scam in the KMF, has come from within the courtyards of the Federation itself.
Three directors of KMF, who are BJP men have themselves alleged that there had been irregularities worth nearly Rs 40 crore by KMF Chairman Gaali Somashekhara Reddy, Managing Director Venkatramu and Finance Director Narasimha Reddy in the purchase of raw materials for fodder since the past seven months.
In a written appeal to the government, they have demanded a high level probe into the same. The government, however, is learnt to be dilly dallying to act upon this complaint.
The allegation is that there has been fund misuse in purchase of cottonseed, one of the raw materials for preparation of fodder. It is learnt, 57500 tonnes of the same has been purchased from January to July by paying a price which was higher than the market value.
