Bajpe: Bajpe police reported on Tuesday that some burglars entered the house of Saroja Salian around noon, when she was at her working place.

Her niece Geetha, slightly affected in mind, was present in the house when the robbers gang barged in, tied up the woman by ropes, broke the room doors, ransacked the cabinet, and took away 50 pavans of Gold ornaments worth Rs.10 lakhs.

Geetha managed to move to the windows and shout around to attract people in neighbourhood who freed her from the ropes. They contacted Saroja later.

It is not known how many burglars were in the gang. Bajpe police have registered the case of burglary and are investigating further to arrest the robbers.
