Mangalore: A group of’ miscreants entered in a Government school in Mallikatta, Kadri in the early hours of Tuesday and destroyed school property, without touching a new fan and a sterio on the premises. The various gangsters damaged the roof, water pipes, water tanks and furniture among other things on a festival (Mosaru Kudike) day, on late Monday.
The students on Tuesday had to sit outside, as everything in the classroom was vendalised by criminal merry-makers in Kadri.
It was the second time that the N.S.Bose Government composite school was illegally targeted for devastation by some miscreants, perhaps drunkards. A case was registered in Kadri police station for swift action.
Only last week, the rowdies had damaged benches and desks in school rooms. The trouble makers struck again soon, breaking doors and destroying property, for no specific redressal of complaint, if any.
The management of the composite school that has about 100 students has planned to recruit security men, to guard the school at midnight. The miscreants may next destroy important documents of the school, it is feared. Kadri police are investigating the strange case of  looting a school.
