Mangaluru : Police have arrested four persons in connection to the Mallur Gram Panchayat PDO assulting case for PDO questioning them not wearing a mask without following Corona rules. The incident had taken place on May 25.

Those arrested are Mohammad Idayathulla (25), Abdul Siddique (33), Abdul Basheer (30) from Farangipete and Aboobakker Siddique (26) from Kuthar, Police are on the lookout for another accused namely Mansoor Ali.

Of those arrested Mohammad Idayathulla and Ahmed Basheer have cases against them in Mangaluru North, South and Rural stations.

Giving information about the arrests, City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar said those who obstruct officials in doing their duties will be dealt with a firm hand.
