Mangalore: Malnad Youth Association organized a blood donation camp at Wenlock Hospital on September 26, Sunday.
Vinay Gaonkar, the inspector of Bunder Police Station, inaugurated the camp and lauded the effort of Malnad Youth Association, which had just elected its new working committee and spoke of the importance of donating blood.
Dr. Erappa, the district health officer; Narayan Yagi, the manager of the Karnataka Gram Vikas Gramin Bank; Ganesh, the proprietor of Guardian Constructions; and Deekshith A. D., the vice chairman of Malnad Association, were present.
A large number of Malnad Youth Association members donated blood on the occasion.
