Mangalore : A person named Ibrahim has lodged a complaint with the Dakshina Kannada SP Abhishek Goel alleging that he was falsely accused of stealing cash from the house of  his employer and also that his employer B Ahmed Haji’s son Abdul Salam even  beat him up on Saturday.

Ibrahim submitted a memorandum to the SP in the presence of DYFI leader Muneer Katipalla. As per the complaint,  a theft of Rs 40,000 had taken place in the house   about a month ago, and that in this connection Abdul Salam  abused and slapped Ibrahim on Saturday,.

It is said though Ibrahim and his sons approached the Bantwal police station to lodge a complaint, no FIR was lodged and that the cops took Ibrahim aside and made him sign a paper in the presence of Abdul Salam. Ibrahim said he did not know what was written as he was illiterate.

The SP has assured to take up the master with Bantwal rural police and conduct an enquiry. Ibrahim said he wanted compensation for the pain he suffered due to the assault.

 However, B Abdul Salam, who is the Managing Director of BA Group of Thumbay  has said he was unaware of the incident and also that he does not know Ibrahim.
