Mangaluru : The rural police, during a routine check-up at Pumpwell on Thursday, arrested a man and seized his bike after he failed to show relevant documents.

The arrested was Imtiyaz (30), resident of BC Road.

When asked, Imtiyaz reportedly hesitated to produce documents of the bike. The police got suspicious and on inquiry found that the bike was stolen from Kasargod.

Imtiyaz was produced before court and was remanded to judicial custody till June 10.
