Kundapur : West Bengal origin 35 old man reportedly tried to rape a minor girl a rented house in Chikkansal Road at Kundapur Taluk.

The accused has been identified as Biswas (35).

The person, who was caught in the act by the public, and handed over to the police.

It is said, The girl stays with her family in a rented house there. Her father and Biswas have been friends for the last 11 years.

The victim was alone  On Monday morning, using the opportunity Biswas is said to have climbed up a tree next to the house, and entered the house by removing some tiles. When he tried to rape the girl, she raised an alarm.

people nearby rushed to the spot, caught him and over to the police.
