Mangaluru: Unidentified five culprits allegedly assaulted a man and took away his Maruti Swift car, 40 gram gold jewelry and cash in a honey trap case reported in Vitla police station area limits on Saturday morning at around 03.00 AM.

The honey trap victim has been identified as Haneef and the incident reportedly occurred at a flat in Kudthamugeru near Vitla town. The culprits have threatened the victim to prevent him from registering police complaint against them.
