Mumbai : Crime Branch yesterday arrested a man for carrying a pistol, police said. Sanjay Choudhary was caught on a tip-off that he was going to deliver the firearm to gangster Raju Madhik in suburban Bandra, they said.Police found that Choudhary was hiding the pistol in a specially made cavity into holy Bhagwadgita.

“We held him before he could leave the place and he was carrying a bag containing a shoe box. That box contained Bagwadgita and when we opened the book, the pistol was found concealed into it,” said an official.

Choudhary has been booked under Arms Act.
