Mangalore : Three persons from north east India who ran a mobile canteen were injred when their auto was hit by a speeding car the driver of which was drunken, at Gorigudde at around midnight on August 15, Thursday.

The impact of the collision was such that the auto was broken into pieces and everything inside it including vessels and plate thrown apart.

The driver of the car who was highly drunk was thrashed by the public. When he sustained head injuries due to hitting, he was put in  an ambulance,but he opened  the door and escaped.

Even the Maruti Ritz was damaged.  Pandeshwar police have registered a case.
