Mangaluru: The Eid has resulted in a disaster, a 34 year old man died on the spot after colliding with a service near Moti Mahal on Wednesday.

Sarfraz Bawa (34) of Goa is the deceased person. He had come to his wife’s home at Yekkur.

A service bus hit Sarfraz’s Honda Maestro near Moti Mahal from behind. He was immediately taken to the Wenlock hospital where he was pronounced dead.

As soon as the mishap took place, the gathered public called the police control room, but after 30 minutes police reached the spot. The bus driver tried to escape from the spot after hitting the scooter, but the gathered people held him and handed over to the police.

Most of the people gathered at the spot were talking only the thing that the speed of local busses will take some more lives of the public.
