Moodbidri :  In a shocking incident reported from  Moodbidri, a young man hacked his wife who had delivered a baby boy just a day ago, after barging into the ward of the Community Health Centre here were she was admitted.

The deceased has been identified as Jayanthi, while the killer husband is Jayanth. The couple had died the knot just   six months ago and it was a forcible marriage following coercion by social organisations which came to know that Jayanth had tried to ditch Jayanthi after coming to know that she had conceived.

Jayanth, a mechanic, however had a strained relationship with Jayanthi since marriage and had chosen to kill her heinously that too in a hospital. He had thrown the machete which he used to kill his wife, in the hospital premises. The newborn baby has also been injured in the attack.
