Mangaluru: In an accident reported, a man was injured after the ambulance he was driving hit a light pole and overturned at Kuloor.

Vasudev was driving Sri Sharavu Ambulance from Mulki to Bengaluru on an emergency work. When he reached Kuloor bypass, a speeding car tried to get onto the highway.

In a bid to avoid colliding with the car, Vasudev turned the ambulance and it went out of control, hit a light pole and overturned.

Traffic came to a standstill for some time after the accident. A case was registered at Surathkal police station.

It is said that the same ambulance had met with an accident near Mulky a few days ago.
