District In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Tanveer Sait and AICC Secretary P C Vishnunath and other party workers were present on the occasion.
Speaking after campaign inauguration Vishnunath said that the campaign is being held in all Legislative Assembly constituencies in the state for a month. The party workers will visit every household and create awareness on the fulfilled promises of the Congress, he added.
The campaign will highlight the welfare schemes of the state government and the failures of the Modi-led NDA government at the Centre.
