Mangalore : Members of Bajarang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishat celebrated vijayotsav on the success of India’s Mars mission, near PVS circle on September 24, Wednesday.
The members carried out a procession from their office to PVS Circle and celebrated the triumph of the mission by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.
Speaking on the occasion VHP leader Jagadish Shenava congratulated the Space scientists for their efforts and said that, he was proud of Indians since is the first country to succeed in the first attempt in its mission to Mars.
He recalled the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s quotes and said that Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) has entered the orbit of the Red Planet on September 24 Wednesday morning after travelling for over nine months for a distance of over 650 million km in deep space. The MOM has not disappointed the Indians like Indian mom’s who never disappoint their children.
He also said that Prime Minister Modi has announced the citizens to celebrate the victory Space scientists programming throughout the country like the way they celebrate the Indian cricketer’s victory.
After the celebration, members cleaned the road by picking the papers spread all over caused by bursting fire crackers as a part of Modi’s cleanliness drive.
