Mangalore : A seven member dance troupe of Mangalore  ‘Boyzone’ has won the coveted  7up Dance For Me  Award   in the finals held at Chennai.

The team led by Dixit has been presenting spectacular shows as part of the programme since the past two months and has now won the final round too.

7 up Brand Ambassador and actor Allu Arjun, S.T.R and actress Hamsika Motwani handed over the award to the winners. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 51 lakh.

A total of 1265 dance troupes from 21 towns in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala had taken part in this programme which was watched by 4.3 million viewers across the nation.

The Mangalore team has now been selected for the Divisional level event and will present shows at Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.
