Mangalore: The Centenary celebrations of Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank, is due to be held on Sunday, May 8 at the Milagres (Church) Marriage Hall behind the church in Falnir (road).
The directors have envisaged several new banking services to celebrate the milestone occasion. One of them “Swant” (one’s own) is automobile loan scheme to be launched by Ronald Colaco, a NRI Businessman. Only 10% of the car value is to be deposited while taking delivery of the vehicle by the investor.
The chairman of the Bank, Melwin D’Cunha spoke of the plans to open a Centenary branch and also introducing core banking and more branches of the co-op. banking institution. The Bank seems to have schemes for share holders, customers and staff members too. Oscar Fernandez, AICC General Secretary will inaugurate the 10th year celebrations. A church service will be held on Sunday by Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Mangalore Bishop wil preside over the inaugural show.
