Mangalore: For the arrival of the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Mr Narendra Modi, the Mangalore central Ground Completely prepared in all arrangements, BJP District President, Pratap Simha Nayak briefed in a press meet here on Monday, Feb.17 at Nehru Maidan.
Mr Narendra Modi expected at 3.30 PM in the city on Tuesday, 18 February. More than 50,000 people are arriving from the Dakshina Kannada , Udupi , Kasargod districts. 2,000 party workers deployed for the arrangements, he added.
Food and water has been provided for every visitor. 1,600 booths in Dakshina Kannada and 1,000 booths placed in Udupi to make massive success this rally, Nayak Said.
For the vehicle parking, six selected areas have been marked around the city. Ullal Nursing Home Kudroli, Yemmekere Maidan, Vaman Nayak Nandigudde Maidan, Morgan’s Gate Maidan, Yakkur Maidan and the ground near Kuloor Renault Showroom, he said.
Two LED screens have been placed outside of the venue and four LED screens installed near the stage.
Tight security has been provided in and across the city. Separate sections have been recognised for the students and VIPs.
Yuva Morcha and Mahila mandal are providing their voluntary service for the event.
At the beginning a musical programme will be arranged by Shankar Shanboughe.
