Mangalore : As part of International day against drug abuse and trafficking which is celebrated on June 26th, Mangalore city police conducted drawing competition for High school students at St.Aloysius college, Mangalore on July 2.
More than 100 students participated in the event.
Speaking on this occasion Mr.Uday Nayak briefed about various initiatives police department is taking up to avoid drug menace. Continuing with this, Mr. Yogish had an interactive session with the school children about drug abuse. Head master Father Gerald Futardo said ” Now adays youngsters get addicted to drugs, which us very bad for the society. We all should work together to stop this drug menace”
Deputy commissioner of police, Mr.Uday nayak , Head of St.Aloysius English medium high school Father Gerald Futardo, Arts teacher of St.Aloysius School Mr.John chandran, Circle inspector Mr.Yogish ,Dr.Bhaskar KR, Mr.Ganesh Nayak were present.
