Mangalore: An audio of the movie ‘Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri was released on the occasion of 68th birthday celebration of Guru Sri Balagangadharanatha Swami, of the Gowda (Okkaliga) community in Karnataka, held at Abhiman Green Lawns, at the back of BG samsthan school in Kavoor branch monastery in city, on Saturday, Jan. 28.
CM DV Sadanda Gowda few down from Bangalore in a chopper, to the coast to participate in the joyful celebration in the presence of Swamiji.
He landed the renunciate Guru, for his precious social work in know ledge and leading he admitted that the monastery had reduced the burden on the state for education and medical care to a large extent.
Railways minister from Kolar, Muniyappa also referred to the invaluable services of the AC Giri Mutt, like another Basavana. RSS leader K.P Bhat spoke of Vivekananda, to allude to Balagangadhanath in giving his best to the society. Ashok Kheny of NICE (Bangalore- Mysore corridor creator) also spoke. Hosanagar Raghaveshware Bharathi recalled Swamiji`s services to society in a large measure. Swamiji replied suitably to his birthday felicitations and praised CM – DVS Gowda.
A film directed by Saiprakash on the Swamiji, is under production.
