Mangaluru: An Air India Express flight from Mangaluru to Damam made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport on Monday night.

The  Flight IX 885 had departed from international airport here at 6.30 pm and after some time a 22-year-old passenger complained of severe stomach ache which was suspected to be due to Kidney Stones.

Hence, the flight was diverted to Mumbai.

The passenger was shifted to a hospital in Mumbai. Later the flight took off to Damam, the official said.
