Mangalore : Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo visited the Government Wenlock Hospital on June 26 and inspected the conditions prevailing in the hospital.
He met the hospital staff and tried to know the problems. He also inspected the Trauma Centre and Intensive Care Unit ward. Later, speaking to press men, Lobo said the hospital needed more staff and said he would request the government to recruit adequate number of staff.
Dr Shantharam Baliga, Paediatrician and HOD drew the attention of the MLA that there was no proper drug supply and also the infrastructure was inadequate.
The MLA assured to look into the problems and try to find remedial measures.
