Mangalore : Scholarships were distributed to 31 students on behalf of the  Mangalorean Catholic Center of the Parish (MCCP), Muscat at a function held at Milagres Church Hall on November 7, Wednesday.

Financial aid was also provided to three parishes and seven organizations, totaling to Rs 11.25 lakh.
The organizations which received financial support included  Bellary diocese, St Joseph College of Engineering, Vamanjoor, Kuloor Church, Seon Ashram, Ladyhill School, St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu, Gulbarge Diocese, St Antony Church, Chikmagalur, St Francis Assisi, Nainad and Mandd Sobhann,

Fr Francis Gomes, principal of Milagres College, Sr Aloysius, Stany Alvares, President of Mandd Sobhann, and Stany Fernandes, president of MCCP  were among others present on the occasion.
