Mangaluru : A woman staff of Mangaluru City Corporation’s water supply section has filed a complaint with the Department of Women and Child Development against her senior officer of harassing her.

The woman had alleged in her complaint, that she was forced to work more than the regular working hours.

Women and Child Development department Deputy Director Papabovi said that the complaint refers to work pressure. The complaint was forwarded to the administrative section of the MCC for redressal.

When contacted, MCC Commissioner Akshy Sridhar said that he will have to go through the complaint. Any wrongdoing will be strictly dealt with as per the law, he said.
