Mangaluru : A clash has occurred between two groups of Transgenders in the city on Wednesday.
A complaint was lodged by two groups at the Panambur station. It is said, Mangalore-based Transgenders and those who came to Mangalore from outer districts have started clash with each other.
The clash started near the railway gate of Baikampady between two groups.
Mangalore-based Transgenders threatens to another group to leave the city, they said, we were born and raised here. We should be here. You have to go back from here, our income is decreasing after you come they threaten.
The conflict between who come from Gangavathi, Koppala and Bellary who lives here and out district Transgenders. Two groups came to Mangalore city police commissioner N Shashikumar . There was also been a verbal altercation between the two groups.
Police Commissioner Shashikumar accepted the plea of the two teams. Speaking to the media later, he said the legal action would be taken after investigation.
