Mangaluru : Addressing senior Police officers, State Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy here on , Wednesday wanted police to invoke Goonda Act against those disrupting peace in the society.
After the meeting Reddy said he has also instructed the police to initiate action immediate and promt action against those collecting hefty interest also known as Meter Baddi.
Safety of women and women working in software companies and night patrolling are measure where it needs increased efforts, said the Home Minister.
For Law and order problem in his respective jurisdiction of SI of respective police station, who will be held responsible the Minister said.

He said enquiry is in the final stage, in the death of Kavya, and the minister said report would be submitted soon.
