Mangaluru : A Bengaluru resident has been booked for sexually harassing a woman in a moving train near Kadaba on Wednesday.
Railway police arrested Manju,27, a resident of Bengaluru, in this connection.The accused had boarded the women’s coach near Nettana. The train was heading to Mangaluru. Police said that victim was alone in the coach. After the accused tried to sexually harass her, the victim pulled the alarm chain pulling (ACP). However, the accused jumped out of the bogie, after which he was caught by the public near Kodimbala.
The railway police from Puttur have registered a case in this connection.
