Mangalore: A female nursing student  found dead hanging in the second floor room of Sri Devi’s apartment in Attavar Manjushetty compound on Friday night.

At about 11 pm on Friday night, the student’s body was found hanging in a ceiling fan when police opened the door of her living room.

The deceased is  identified Anupama, 23, native of  Kerala.

The mother of the girl staying in abroad and Anupama studying nursing science in Father Muller’s Medical collage. She has been staying in Sri Devi’s apartment in Attavara Manjushetty compound for the last one year and she had a love affair with a boy.

His name is Allen, he was working in the Merchant Navy in Chennai. Allen to visit her frequently  to the apartment. Recently, Anupama and Allen had a quarrel, It is said to have refused Anupama’s marriage request,  for this apartment owner also warned Allen.

It is suspected that Anupama had committed suicide on Friday and a death note was found in a white sheet stick on the wall of her living room, which the reason of the death.

The Pandeshwar South Station police visited the spot. Investigation is on.
