Mangaluru: Urva police and Anti Rowdy Squad of Mangaluru city arrested seven youths in three separate operations at Kottara Chowki, Kuntikana and Kodikal in Mangaluru on Sunday inconnection with ganja consumption.

The three operations were conducted at public places which led to arrest 7. The accused Mohammed Rehman (22), Ankith Shetty (25) were arrested near Kuntikana whereas Shubham (23), Shan Rodigras (19) and Ganesh Poojary (24) caught at Kottara Chowki. Praveen (25) and Ranjith Devadiga nabbed while consuming ganja near Kodikkal grounds.

A medical examination soon after the arrest proved that all seven youths consumed ganja. All accused have been booked under NDPS Act at Urva police station.
