Mangaluru : The Canara Bus Operators ‘Association and Udupi Bus Operators’ Association have been revised Private bus fare effect from 26th.

After the demand for increasing the bus tickets, the Regional Transport Authority approved to revised fare rates.

Bus operators are advised to take a minimum amount of 00.04 paise per passenger per km from public.

City Bus – City: First stage (up to 2 km) minimum Rs12. Revised rate is set. 15 to 30 respectively.

City Bus: Rural (up to 25 km): First stage (up to 2 km) at least Rs12. Rate is set. 30 respectively. Ticket rate can be obtained.

Express / Shuttle Bus Rate: Rs. 11 for first stage (up to 6.50 km). Ticket revised rate. Rs.190 for the last and 25th stage (156-162 km). The regional transport authority’s secretary said in a statement.
