Mangaluru : A student suffered serious injuries to his head after his scooter skidded off the road near Hampankatta here, late night on Sunday, January 12.

He was admitted into a private hospital in the city.

Without responding to treatment, he passed away on Monday morning, January 13.

The deceased student was Mohammed Omar (18). He was a first year student of civil engineering degree course at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor here.
