Mangaluru: Mangaluru taluk Tahashildar R V Shivashankarappa has been transferred to Hassan district. Mahadevaiah will take charge as the news Tahashildar of Mangaluru taluk, on Friday.

C Mahadevaiah had served as the Tahashildar of Kollegal taluk, Chamarajanagar.

R V Shivashankarappa had taken charge as Mangaluru tahashildar on August 31, 2015. He will assume charge as new Tahashildar of Hassan district, which is vacant by the transfer of V Manjunath.

He was a people friendly Tahashildar. Cadastre correction, 11E files were used to available very quickly to the public during his tenure. During his time only taluk office shifted to Mini Vidhan Soudha from old DC office.

Shivashankarappa had requested the government seeking transfer to his native taluk.
