Maniapl: Centre for Integrative Medicine and Research, Manipal University organized National Conference on Holistic approach to Life Style Disorders on December 13 and 14. Dr.K. Ramnarayan, the former vice-chancellor, Manipal University and Dr ShashidharVenkatesh Murthy JP (Qual), Professor, James Cook University, Australia inaugurated conference.

Renowned Guest speakers like Dr BM Hegde, former Vice Chancellor, MAHE, DrPrabhaAdhikari M.R., Professor Internal Medicine, KMC, Manipal and others shared their experience with delegates. Around 200 delegates from various universities of India participated in the conference.

As many as 105 research papers were presented by research scholars from different medical specialisation. Dr K J Malagi, Prof and HOD, Division of Ayurveda, Manipaly University briefed about the conference proceeding and Dr Kamath Madhusudhana, Organizing Secretary conveyed vote of thanks to the gathering.
