Kasargod : Manjeshwar police successfully nabs two notorious thieves wanted in several mobile and jewellery shops theft cases.

The arrested are identified as Mohammad Rafique (26), hailing from Kumble Kalattur and KG Saju (34) hailing from Iriatti.

It is learnt that the plan of the thieves was to enter the crowded mobile shops and steal costly mobile sets.

One of accused Rafique was caught by the public while he was trying to sell the stolen mobile in a shop in Kasargod. Later he was handed over to the police and after some time another accused Saju was also arrested. The duo had stolen mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees.

The duo has been wanted from Payyanur, Talachery, Kasargod police station.

The duo is taken to further interrogation.
